Part01.
快速泛读
Develop the habit of fast & extensive reading. Extensive reading here means reading large amounts of books covering different fields within a short period and grasping the main contents of books.
平时要养成快速泛读的习惯。这里讲的泛读是指广泛阅读大量涉及不同领域的书籍，要求读得快，理解和掌握书中的主要内容就可以了。
Part02.
计时阅读
Develop the habit of timed reading in your free time. Timed reading demands great attention so that readers tend to be tired, distracted and even underwhelmed over time. Therefore, it should be done for five to ten minutes at a time. Moreover, the reading speed can be measured by yourself from the start and end times.
课余要养成计时阅读的习惯。计时阅读每次进行5～10分钟即可，不宜太长。因为计时快速阅读，精力高度集中，时间一长，容易疲劳、精力分散，反而乏味。阅读时先记下“起读时间”，阅读完毕，记下“止读时间”，即可计算出本次阅读速度。
Part 03.
略读
Skimming, also known as skipping or browsing, is a specialized and practical fast reading skill. It refers to reading the material as fast as possible to grasp its main idea quickly. In other words, readers are required to read selectively, skipping some details if necessary to grasp the general concept of the material and accelerate reading speed.
略读又称跳读或浏览，是一种专门的，非常实用的快速阅读技能。所谓略读，是指以尽可能快的速度阅读，迅速获取文章大意或中心思想。换句话说，略读是要求读者有选择地进行阅读，可跳过某些细节，以求抓住文章的大概，从而加快阅读速度。
In addition, we should also avoid the four bad habits in reading.
另外，我们要避免阅读的四大坏习惯：
(1)Finger reading: Point your finger or pen at the text and read carefully word by word. It may mislead the reader about the meaning of an entire sentence or paragraph.
“指读”，用手指或笔尖指着文章细细的逐词阅读。这是逐词进行阅读的办法，会影响对整句或整段的意思的理解;
(2)Lip reading: It refers to this phenomenon that some students tend to read aloud or move their mouth and think of words’ pronunciation in mind. Doing so may slow down the speed of thought in the brain.
“唇读”，即有的学生在阅读时喜欢读出声来，或嘴唇在蠕动，或脑子里也在想着读音，无形当中影响了大脑的思维速度;
(3) Backward reading: It refers to returning to the beginning of a sentence or even paragraph when encountering new words and phrases in reading.
“回读”，在阅读中遇到生词或不熟悉的短语时，返回句首甚至段首重读;
(4) Translation reading: In the process of reading, constantly carry out word-by-word translation.
“译读”，在阅读过程中，不断地进行逐词逐句的翻译，需要通过译成母语来辅助理解。
