1. all, some, a lot of, most等修饰可数名词时,述语动词用复数形式;修饰不可数名词时,述语动词用单数形式。

2. There be..., Here be...等句型中的述语动词形式与紧接在后面的名词或代名词一致。

There are some people waiting for you.
有一些人在等你。
3. none of后接复数名词时述语动词可用单数或复数。
So ugly! None of us has (have) seen such an ugly girl.

我们没人能弄清楚。
4. more than one of或many a+单数名词,虽然表示复数概念,但述语动词用单数。
Many a student has passed.
许多同学都通过了。
More than one of the official is involved in this.
不只一个官员与此事有牵连。
5. a number of后接复数名词,述语动词用复数;the number of后接复数名词,表示单数的意思,后接单数述语动词。
But a number of my friends say it is good.
我的一些朋友们说这不错。
A number of students are going.
一些学生要去。
The number of factories is increasing.
工厂的数目在增长。
