1.Can you recall your schooldays?
2.Don’t you remember the heavy snow last Christmas?

Dialogue One
A:The Johnsons are on their way back.You remember them,don’t you?
B:Johnson?I can’t place them.
A:We met them in Bermuda last May.
B:They’ve completely slipped my mind.
A:The couple with the dogs_think back.
B:No,I don’t recall a thing about them.
A:Well, I’ve invited them for brunch.
B:Hmm,I must be getting absent-minded.
Dialogue Two
A:It’s terrible how things have changed.You remember there used to be trees on all these hills.
B:Really?There aren’t many left now.
A:No,they’ve all been cut down and now all the soil is washing away.
B:Were there any animals in the forest?
A:Yes,I can remember it very well that there used to be all sorts of animals and birds.But nowadays you just don’t see the birds that you used to see around here.
Dialogue Three
A:What’s the matter with you,then?You look miserable.
B:It’s us.
A:What do you mean by "us"?
B:Well,we used to talk to each other before we were married.Remember?
A:What do you mean?We ’re talking now,aren’t we?
B:Oh,yes,but we used to do so much together.
A:Yes.I remember.But we never used to argue.You used to think I was wonderful.Where are you going?
B:Back to live with my parents.That’s something else I used to do before we were married.Remember?
Dialogue Four
A:Well, thank you.Mr.Parry,for all your information.Just one more question.
B:Yes,sir?
A:Do you play any sports or games?
B:I used to play football regularly when I was at university.And I used to do atheleetics in the summer.
A:And what atheletics did you play?Can you remember?
B:I was a runner_a long-distance runner.
A:And now?
B:No.I’m afriad I haven’t had time since I got married.
A:Well,thank you again for coming to see us.But just remember that we like people who join the company to play in the company sports teams.
B:Certainly,sir.
Mary Smith is a tall ,beautiful girl now.She has changed a great deal in the last five years.She used to be very fat,but now she is slim.She usually went to the dancing hall for fun,but now she often stays home.I remembered seeing her in unattractive clothes,but now she is particular about her clothes.Whenever and whenever she appears,she attracts almost everybody’s attention.
